Alastair is certified with the US National Board of Health and Wellness Coaching and is a Duke trained Integrative Health Coach. He works to improve clients' long-term health through partnering with them to make achievable and sustainable lifestyle change.
Alastair has certificates in Nutrition Science, Exercise Physiology (Stanford School of Medicine) and Plant Based Nutrition (eCornell).
Alastair came to Singapore in late 90s, initially working with top tier performing artists and their teams. Later he moved into live events, organising major concerts and sports events including being part of the core team that delivered the Formula 1 night race to Singapore. As part of the high stress entertainment industry he witnessed the health issues of those around him and also, first-hand, faced his own health challenges. Projects increasingly led into wellness - paralleling his own personal longstanding interest in health.
Now Alastair's focus is working with clients to promote whole health - to maximise vitality and longevity. As part of his whole health lifestyle Alastair enjoys: running (with the occasional half marathon), exploring food markets, and the great outdoors.
“Whole health is achieved when proper foundations are in place. And, in our complex lives, even supposedly 'simple' healthy habits can be a challenge. Coaching allows me to partner with my clients and to support their own unique journeys to health and wellbeing.” Alastair
