book review Ripe Figs Yasmin Khan

What? A gorgeous recipe book celebrating the food of the Eastern Mediterranean. A treasure trove of recipes from Greece to Lebanon that are achievable and delightful.

Who? With several books already published Yasmin Khan is both a human rights campaigner and author.

Why? The book allows us to share a connection with the people, often displaced, of the region and to explore flavours rich in warming spices and tangy overtones.

So… The popular concept of Mediterranean eating (and its associated healthy 'diet') is from Spain to Greece, this book takes us further. There's plenty more to enjoy.

Let's cook...
