book review Wild Fermentation Sandor Ellix Katz

What? With all its briny, tangy goodness – fermentation is healthy, fun and achievable at home. Across cultures fermenting is of the oldest ways to preserve food, make nutrients more available and to promote health. This book teaches you how to ferment.

Who? Sandor Katz (learn more about him in our article here) is the undisputed king of fermentation. With multiple books and documentaries we look to him as a key resource for our own home fermented delights.

Why? Probiotics, gut health and the microbiome are a fascinating and vital part of health. Probiotics (the good bacteria) need prebiotics (fibre) - fermented foods are the dietary and nutritional solution.

So… Fermented cabbage, sauerkraut, is easy to make at home. Try it, and our other fermenting recipes, for yourself!

Look out for the publication on Amazon.

Stay Healthy,
