Introducing Dr. Layne Norton; Health Insights for our Community in Singapore and Beyond.

Updated: Apr 17

With the internet providing access to so many health experts and talking heads, we often get asked ‘who can be trusted, to watch or follow online, even to enjoy?’ The answer is not always obvious, as those in the media spotlight have their own area of expertise, biases, even their own unique style of presentation.

Whether you are part of our Singapore or global community, in this series of posts we present some of the key online health leaders whose media channels we enjoy.

Meet Dr. Layne Norton. No bullshit strength, fitness and physical improvement.

A small disclaimer, we do not necessarily endorse or agree everything that our featured personalities nor their guests might say, but we do enjoy the general direction that they take. Please talk to your doctor, or medical practitioner most familiar with your medical history, before implementing any changes in diet, exercise or lifestyle, especially if you are under treatment.

Want to build up your strength or already working at it? Prioritising your own self-care is the vital first step to improving your health and long-term wellbeing. Wherever you are in your journey to health, at The Whole Health Practice we work with you, to turn knowledge and intent into targeted and effective action.

Stay Healthy,

Alastair

Layne Norton, the founder of BioLayne, established the company with a vision to offer ethical, science-based coaching that blends real-world experience with evidence-based protocols. Throughout his coaching career, he has propelled over 70 individuals into professional status.

In addition to his scholarly achievements, Layne has excelled in bodybuilding, securing a natural pro card in 2006 and triumphing as a pro in 2010, notably winning the heavyweight class at the 2010 IFPA International event. Furthermore, Layne has showcased remarkable success in powerlifting, clinching victory at USAPL Nationals in 2014 and 2015 in the 93kg class, culminating in an overall silver medal at the 2015 IPF worlds and setting a then world record squat of 303kg (668 lbs).

Alongside his athletic endeavours, Layne has authored two best-selling books, "The Complete Contest Prep Guide" and "Fat Loss Forever," while generously sharing extensive free content across various platforms such as social media, podcasts, and articles. Currently, Layne is dedicated to providing ongoing support through biolayne.com and its subscription membership, as well as training other coaches to implement his methodologies for the success of their clients.
