The PARAS'10 is the leading military organised tabbing (aka rucking) event in the UK - providing participants the opportunity to tab (ruck), or run, the infamous Parachute Regiment 10 Miler. With weighted pack (35lbs/ 16kg) in under 1 hour 50 minutes (for the hardcore, going for a P Company 'pass') and longer for everyone else. In boots and trousers.
Not able to go to the hilly charms of Catterrick, North Yorkshire in person? No matter where you are in the world, there is a virtual event. And, if you are in Singapore, we are putting together a team to have a go!
Date: 07 November, tbc
Location: tbc
10 miles, best effort time, in the tropical heat and humidity. Not an easy challenge.
Health & Safety: This is a virtual event, it is 'unsupported'. What does this mean? The event registration is via a UK event organiser, there is no Singapore based event company that manages this event. If you participate, you do so as an individual, as part of a team of like-minded individuals. On event day, there is no First Aid or medical cover. You complete the event at your own level of fitness, pace and preparedness. We strongly recommend that you own research on how to train and prepare for a loaded march.
